AssemblyAI Voice Agent API · Server-Side HTTP Tools

OmniDesk Documentation

OmniDesk is a full-stack AI voice receptionist platform. It uses the AssemblyAI Voice Agent API with server-side HTTP tools to handle inbound calls, check real calendar availability, and book confirmed appointments — all without human intervention.

Voice Agent API
Built on AssemblyAI's real-time bidirectional WebSocket pipeline.
Dual-Mode Database
SQLite for local development, Supabase PostgreSQL for production.
Multi-Tenant SaaS
Each owner gets their own business, bookings, and agent config.

What OmniDesk Does

When a caller dials in, OmniDesk's voice agent:

  • Greets the caller in a natural, conversational tone
  • Answers questions about available services and pricing
  • Checks real-time availability from the booking database
  • Collects caller name, email, and preferred appointment slot
  • Creates a booking record and sends a confirmation + .ics calendar invite
  • Logs the full conversation transcript to your Owner Portal
